This webinar will explore the challenges surrounding the promotion of gender inclusivity within the science diplomacy framework; viable strategies that can be employed to foster a greater sense of gender equality in science diplomacy; and the profound impact of effective science diplomacy on enhancing and increasing women’s participation in the scientific community.
The Deputy Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Ms. Nomalungelo Gina, will give the keynote address. A panel of South African and international speakers will share their insights on how to make science diplomacy more inclusive and gender-sensitive while ensuring that women’s contributions are recognised, and valued.
